Radio Bakery – Brooklyn, NY
At first glance, Radio Bakery feels retro. Teal signage and metal chairs recall a diner, while inside, light wood and an open baking area dominate the space. Most of the room belongs to the bakery itself—“all baking done on premises.”
The interior is small, with standing-room bars and a pastry case filled with baked goods and sandwiches.
Normally, a sandwich over fourteen dollars would give me pause. Here, every one has been worth it. Italian-inspired, thoughtfully constructed, and deeply satisfying. Show up early—the pastries often sell out.
Best Bite: Burrata, prosciutto, and basil on house-made focaccia.
